| Sustainable Shelters
Our customer Anders completed a project consisting of two shelters, each standing on four GroundPlug® Twister M20/1500mm screw pile foundations. The screw piles were partially in water and were a natural choice for the project. One year after construction, none of the foundations have sunk and they are still standing.
With this project, Anders is showing us how sustainable screw pile foundations are and how practical they are to use. Once the shelters are used up, Anders plans to remove them along with the screw piles, and hopefully reuse them for another project.

One of Anders’ wishes was that the foundation should respect nature and the soil, so he ruled out any concrete solution and chose GroundPlug® instead. It was the perfect solution as he can remove the screw piles from the ground at any time without damaging the surrounding soil.
