General

These purchase terms apply to the purchase of GroundPlug’s products (hereinafter referred to as the “delivery”) on groundplug.dk, which is owned and operated by GroundPlug Aps, Krakasvej 17, 3400 Hillerød, CVR no. 31477859, telephone no. +45 7028 1030, e-mail address: shop@groundplug.com (hereinafter referred to as “the Seller”).


The terms of purchase only apply to the purchase and sale of the Seller’s products.
Any other terms of purchase or other requirements for the Delivery to the Customer are not binding on the Seller, unless the Seller has expressly accepted such conditions.
The seller is entitled to change these terms of purchase at any time.


The seller wants to offer you the best possible service, and you are always welcome to contact us with questions, comments and suggestions about our products and solutions. The best way to contact us is by e-mail shop@groundplug.com, and we endeavor to answer your questions within 48 hours and, as far as possible, the same day.

This is how you act

You select the goods you want to buy and put them in the “shopping basket”. You can change the contents of the shopping basket right up to the time of ordering, and you can continuously see the contents and the price for your total Delivery.


When you are ready to order, you go to the “checkout”, where you enter your name, address, e-mail, telephone no. and desired form of payment.
You can change the contents of the shopping basket right up until you confirm your purchase by pressing the “Order and pay” button. The order for the total Delivery is then sent.


When you have ordered an item from the Seller, you will receive an order confirmation from us on the e-mail you have specified.
Note – The seller reserves the right for typing errors, price changes, sold-out or discontinued items. The seller also reserves the right for inaccuracies in image reproductions.

Payment

To shop at groundplug.co.uk, you must be 18 years of age and in possession of a valid payment card that the Seller accepts.
The seller receives the following payment card: Dankort/Visa-Dankort, VISA, Euro/Mastercard Maestro.

Security

Communication between the payment system and the cardholder takes place via an encrypted SSL connection (Secure Socket Layer). The payment card you use must be your own payment card. All credit/debit card holders will be subject to validation and approval by the card issuer. If the issuer of that payment card declines the payment, the Seller will not be responsible for any delays or non-delivery of your order. In the event that your payment card’s approval and validation expires, the Seller reserves the right to cancel your order. Payment will only be debited from your account when the Delivery is dispatched.

Freight rates

All prices are incl. VAT and excl. package and shipping costs. The shipping price will only be calculated immediately before you are ready to pay.

Delivery will be made at the prices in force at the time of delivery and which appear in the Seller’s price list, unless a fixed price has been agreed between the parties.

The seller reserves the right to change the price if, before delivery, new or increased costs are imposed, for example, but not limited to, as a result of changes in taxes, duties, customs, exchange rates, raw material prices or other documented price increases from suppliers. Seller reserves the right to impose administrative fees for orders below a certain amount, wasted runs, special packaging or shipping and other similar conditions.

Delivery

The Seller packs the ordered products within 2 days after the Seller has received your order (before 2pm), if the products are in the Seller’s warehouse. Seller always arranges delivery with the fastest package distributor based on your address. Timely delivery requires that the freight company complies with day-to-day delivery. When your order has been shipped, you will receive an expected delivery date and a tracking number. If there are delays with the shipping company, this will correspondingly delay the delivery in relation to the desired delivery date. The seller cannot be held responsible for delays with the shipping company.


If there are changes in connection with the delivery, we will send you an email with the new delivery date.

Right of withdrawal

There is a 14-day right of return on the purchased products (the Delivery), calculated from the day they are received. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us in a clear and distinct manner that you regret the purchase no later than 14 days after you have received the Delivery. It is you as the buyer who must document that you have notified the Seller of the cancellation in a timely manner. We therefore encourage you to send us a message by email to shopuk@groundplug.com.


If you choose to cancel a purchase, you must return the Delivery no later than 14 days after the expiry of the return period. When the Seller has received the Delivery back and approved it, the Seller will refund the purchase price to your account within 2-7 business days.


The Seller has the right to withhold the refund until the Seller has received the Delivery back, unless you, as the buyer, have provided documentation that you have returned it before then.


If the Delivery consists of several different products which have been ordered as a single order, but are delivered individually, the period runs from the receipt of the last product.

The seller must emphasize that you as a buyer may lose your purchase price, in whole or in part. This can happen if the value of the returned products has deteriorated, for example as a result of:

  • The delivered products/Delivery have actually been used, and this has led to a deterioration in the value of the goods.
  • The delivered products/Delivery have been damaged while in the buyer’s custody.
  • The buyer has handled the delivered products/the Delivery in a different way than was necessary and normal in order for you as the buyer to be able to determine the nature of the products, their properties and the way in which the Delivery works. As a general rule, the seller therefore does not recommend that you break the original packaging if you, as a buyer, wish to make use of your right of withdrawal.

Returns

If you as a buyer regret the purchase, you must return the total Delivery to:

You must pay all costs yourself when returning the Delivery when you regret the purchase. When returning, you must ensure that the Delivery is properly wrapped and packaged. As the buyer, you yourself are responsible for the Delivery until the Seller has received it. Therefore, save all receipts etc. as documentation for having returned the Delivery.
It is emphasized that the Seller does not receive packages sent per cash on delivery or similar.

What should I attach as a buyer?
Remember to include a copy of the order confirmation or other documentation for your purchase. It is not a requirement, but the entire expedition is promoted if adequate, supplementary information accompanies the package, such as a copy of the previous correspondence etc.

Defects and complaints

As a consumer, you are covered by the rules of the Sales Act, including the rules on defects. This means that you as the buyer have 24 months to make a complaint, during which the buyer can either get a defective product repaired, exchanged, the money back or a discount on the purchase price, all depending on the specific situation and defect.

It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect did not arise as a result of incorrect use of the product or otherwise harmful behaviour.

As a buyer, you must contact the Seller within a “reasonable time”:

As a buyer, you must advertise within a “reasonable time” after you have discovered that the Delivery is defective. The seller recommends that you make a complaint as soon as possible after you have discovered the error or deficiency.

What should I disclose?

When you return the Delivery, please state what the problem is, preferably in as much detail as possible or refer to the previous correspondence.
Remember that the Delivery must always be sent back in proper packaging and remember to get a receipt for sending.

If you wish to complain:

A complaint about a Delivery purchased from the Seller can be submitted to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority’s Center for Complaint Resolution, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby. You can also complain to the Center for Complaint Resolution via www.forbrug.dk.

Limitation of liability

Compensation is only provided for directly documented losses. The seller is not liable for indirect losses or consequential damages. Furthermore, the Seller cannot be held responsible for damages that have occurred during or after installation of the delivered products, if these have not been installed by the Seller’s own employees. The seller recommends at all times that prior to installation a mapping of any pipes and electrical installations etc. is carried out. in the ground below the project area. Freedom from liability

All foundation calculations prepared by the Seller are dependent on the Buyer’s information and therefore without responsibility in the event that the information is deficient or incorrect.

The seller is exempt from liability if the following circumstances cause delay or prevent delivery: war, unrest and rebellion, revolution, acts of terrorism, piracy, natural disasters, strikes of any kind and lockouts, shortage of goods, shortages and delays by sub-suppliers, fire, explosions, destruction of factories or machinery, downtime for any reason, lack of transport options, import and export restrictions, currency restrictions, official acts or other circumstances over which the Seller is not directly in control.

If one or more of these conditions occur, the Seller is entitled to postpone delivery until the obstacle to performance has ceased or alternatively to cancel the agreement in whole or in part without compensation.

Choice of law and venue

Any disagreement or dispute in connection with the purchase of products and a delivered Delivery on groundplug.co.uk in accordance with these terms of purchase is subject to Danish law and must be settled by the court in the jurisdiction where the Seller has its place of business in Denmark, which has made the delivery.
