5 easy steps to a post construction

Set a spade in the ground where your post should be located. Move the spade a little back and forth.

Screw your GroundPlug^® Twister^TM Foundation into the ground. The location of the foundation should correspond to the center of your post.

Place the GroundPlug^® Twister^TM Post bracket on top of the foundation and move it into the ground with a hammer. Use a piece of wood between your hammer and the stabilizer to avoid damaging the galvanization.

Mount the GroundPlug^® Twister^TM Post bracket to the foundation.

Mount the post in the GroundPlug^® Twister^TM Post bracket.

GroundPlug products for carports

If your carport is built on posts, you will typically combine a GroundPlug^® Screw Pile Foundation from our M16 or M20 series with a GroundPlug^® Twister^TM M16 or M20 Post bracket. If your carport is made of horizontal beams and walls, you can just use the Twister^TM Screw Piles without the post bracket instead. Which kind of GroundPlug^® Foundation you will need depends on several parameters, such as height of your carport, amount of posts, soil conditions and more.
