There are many different kinds of sheds, but they all have one thing in common – GroundPlug® TwisterTM Screw Piles is the perfect foundation for them. No matter if you are planning to build a shed for tools, garden furniture or bikes, you will benefit from using GroundPlug® TwistersTM as a foundation. 3 easy steps to build a foundation frame

Build your frame and level it with fx kiles.
Screw your GroundPlug® Screw Pile into the ground with an impact wrench.
Install and mount your screw pile foundations.

5 easy steps to a post construction

Set a spade in the ground where your post should be located. Move the spade a little back and forth.
Screw your GroundPlug® TwisterTM Foundation into the ground. The location of the foundation should correspond to the center of your post.
Place the GroundPlug® TwisterTM Post bracket on top of the foundation and move it into the ground with a hammer. Use a piece of wood between your hammer and the stabilizer to avoid damaging the galvanization.
Mount the GroundPlug® TwisterTM Post bracket to the foundation.
Mount the post in the GroundPlug® TwisterTM Post bracket.

  • No limits due to terrain – easy installation in

  • Installing GroundPlug® Screw Pile Foundations is also possible in frost or rain.

GroundPlug® products for sheds

Our M16 series contains the most common GroundPlug® TwisterTM Foundations for sheds. For a shed on flat ground you will typically use a GroundPlug® TwisterTM M16/750mm or M16/1000mm foundation, depending on the size of the shed and the terrain distance, amongst others. Additionally, you will typically install a GroundPlug® TwisterTM M16 Stabilizer in each corner for extra stability and resistance against wind loads. Please be aware that several parameters (like height or soil condition, for example) can have influence on which kind of foundations you will need for a shed.
