Pergola design opportunities

As screw piling only requires minimal site disturbance, it is easily possible to install GroundPlug® TwisterTM Foundations for pergolas in areas with difficult access and sloped terrain. And as GroundPlug® Screw Piles come in many different sizes and length, it is possible to always choose the most suitable foundation for each individual pergola project. This way, GroundPlug® TwisterTM Screw Piles open up for many different design opportunities.

GroundPlug® products for pergolas

Which kinds of products you will need for a pergola project depends typically on several parameters such as soil condition, distance between terrain and post and weight of the construction. For an average pergola you will typically use a GroundPlug® TwisterTM M16/1000mm or M16/1500mm foundation, combined with a M16 post bracket. For a larger pergola, you might also need to use GroundPlug® TwisterTM Foundations belonging our M20-series.

Smart and efficient installation

Installing GroundPlug® TwisterTM Foundations for pergolas works both easy, fast and efficiently. It only takes a few minutes to install one GroundPlug® Screw Pile and the only tool you need is a good strong impact wrench.
